Support Ukrainian Horticulture by Improving Bussiness

The Cabinet of Ministers has included the industrial park Hempy UA in the Register.

This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, on Telegram.

In turn, the head of the Rivne Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Koval, noted that Hempy UA is registered within the territory of the Privilnenska Village Council in Dubensky District. Throughout the year, the Rivne Regional State Administration facilitated all the necessary procedures at the government and Verkhovna Rada levels. They also assisted in connecting the park to the necessary infrastructure.

“The park covers an area of almost 43 hectares. The plans include the placement of new facilities in the areas of secondary resource processing, food production, textile light industry, construction, furniture materials, etc.

I remind you that in November of last year, we signed a memorandum with the project initiator to start growing technical (non-narcotic) hemp on the territory of the Privilnenska community. The goal is to increase the acreage and create a complete processing cycle with added value. The community allocated a land plot, and today we have an approved status of an industrial park. Thus, we are reviving technical hemp production in Rivne,” he wrote on Telegram.

According to the head of the region, the creation of Hempy UA will foster a favorable investment climate, elevate the level of innovation and investment capacity of the region, create about 1400 new jobs, and provide opportunities for scientific research and project activities.
