Ukrainian companies have the opportunity to participate in a free program providing individual express research on foreign markets in order to enter new export markets.
This announcement comes from the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, which is launching the project with the support of the USAID Program “Competitive Economy of Ukraine.”
“Research helps identify the peculiarities of demand, competitive environment, as well as trends, enabling businesses to adapt their strategy and production to the needs and expectations of the target market, reducing risks and increasing chances of success,” explained the office.
Thirty Ukrainian companies will be selected, which will be able to choose up to three target countries to receive individual express research from November 2023 to February 2024. Participants will receive PDF files with the relevant information.
The express research includes:
Demographic and economic situation in the selected country. Trade (volumes and dynamics of import of the focal product to the selected country, exporting countries of the focal product to the selected market, import volumes of the selected product to the target country from Ukraine). Import tariff (imposed by the selected country on the focal Ukrainian product, as well as what the selected country imposes on the largest competing countries). Domestic market (consumption volumes and consumption forecasts up to 2028 of selected product categories on the focal market (retail sales), trends in the focal market, key players in the market and their shares (including private label share), distribution channels). Advice on additional tools for export development. Companies in the following sectors can participate:
Food production – butter, yogurts, baby food, ice cream, plant-based milk, confectionery, snacks, cereals, honey.
Beverages – mineral water, juices, tea, cider, beer, wine.
Application deadline – November 12, 2023 (inclusive).
